The Labyrinth Garden serves a threefold purpose:
A beautiful space in which all may find rest and refreshment,
A final resting place of those whose ashes will lie here,
A labyrinth for everyone to use as an aid for prayer and reflection upon our life journey towards God, who is our creator and loving heavenly Father.
This place is offered to our community and you are welcome to use it at any time.
The Labyrinth forms a continuous grass path and represents the Christian idea of a spiritual journey. We invite you to use the Garden to rest, or walk the Labyrinth for a period of reflection, prayer or even just for fun!
Photographs of the blessing of the Labyrinth Garden by the Bishop of Hertford can be viewed on the church's Flickr page.
Under each of the granite stones which form the outline of the Labyrinth is a plot for the burial of cremated remains for up to two people. Each stone is then inscribed as an appropriate memorial. Plots may be reserved in advanced. For more information please contact the Vicar.
