Christening, also known as Baptism, marks the start of Christian life and the journey of faith. It is both an exciting and dramatic experience. Jesus told his followers to baptise those who had turned away from their old life and had begun a new life, as his followers within the church family. Baptism is also a sign of God's love for us, and God's inward spiritual grace working in us, blessing us and making us whole.

If you are thinking about what it means to be a Christian, or wish to explore Baptism for yourself or for your child, please contact the Vicar.
